Ambiance there is great but the food n customer service sucks. Found pubic hair in my sandwich and my boyfriends pasta was dry with raw tasting shrimp. My girlfriends and I went to John Crow's back in 2007 and I will never forget Eric the head chef. He made us anything we wanted and the food was so delicious, I can't wait to go back this year in June. The special slaw and black bean sauce over oxtails...OMG! The curry chicken was awesome! Even though we are staying @ the all inclusive resort, I will still stop by John Crow's on my way to the downtown market for some really good down home Jamaican food! Irie!

I LOVE THIS PLACE!...Our server was really courteous and the food was great, esp the wings and the jerk pizza. I was staying at a nearby all inclusive hotel with some buddies and we were bored to death with the bland food and repeated activities...usual hotel type stuff. John Crows was recommended to us by the bellman at the hotel (listen to the locals). No regrets. We had a blast on Friday Night and the next day Saturday we were just passing by on the following night and we looked in........they had live band reggae music playing on their outdoor deck. So we skipped Hard Rock and spent the rest of the night there. Advice to the un-initiated...if you love rum esp Jamaican rum...don't buy buy it by the glass....ask for the Que's which is a small cool glass rum bottle that gives you about 4-5 drinks which you can mix yourself with your own chaser. Anyway, I've said enough....wicked place! Ask for Eric. Great server.

A must see location for anyone in the Ocho Rios area. Great food even better atmosphere. Weekends are a must for music lovers. They are usually open from 10am.

The ambience here is nice on a Friday night or a Sunday. Since the restaurant is located street side, the best time to go is when traffic is not too heavy. Friday nights the music is great and there's a good vibe. Sundays are more quiet and good for sports fans since they have TV's.
The food here is okay, especially the fries (which I love) and the coconut shrimp. The jerk chicken wings tasted like they were frozen for a while before being cooked so I got a watered down taste from the meat. The chicken sandwich and stew chicken dishes are good choices from their menu. The pizza is also okay.
I would recommend this restaurant for a visit.
