Ultimate Jerk Centre
Located right along the main road between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios (about 30 mins from Ochie) this is a good rest stop to grab a nice cold beer and a bite to eat. You can choose between jerk chicken or pork which are slowly cooked on an open wood grill. If you're not in the mood for jerk, there's also stew chicken or fish and soup du jour.

The food is delicious! My
The food is delicious! My boyfriend and I went here and ate almost everyday (an he's Jamaican)! We were in Jamaica for 16 days and this place never failed us. We also went to the public beach somewhere near this place. It's in a great location too. If your coming from Montego Bay on your way to Ocho Rios, you have to stop by this place. It is right accross the street from the Green Grotto Caves. One day, we even had lunch there with our Green Grotto cave tour guide :) Also, I know this is completely off subject but the bathrooms are really clean here too so it's a good place to refresh yourself and re-apply your make up if you are touring the island.

I agree, the place is simply the best. If you go when there is a cricket game, it tops it off. Kids can even run and play on the field after eating. Really love the relaxed feel and the authentic JA food. Had stew peas once, I had to buy a second one to take to the hotel. That says it all. Jerk is the best there and the sauce should be bottled and patented, I would invest in that in a heartbeat!!

I love the jerk meat anf=d the menu there and it is reasonably priced. It is seasoned very good, the place is impeccable, chefs and meat handlers are appropriately dressed. The grounds are always very clean, you could eat off the bathroom floors and the bathroom is appointed with a very pleasant aroma. It is so good to eat at a place where the ambience is so relaxed, the food is A1, and the staff is very friendly and accomodating. It is a plus when travelling in JA to have bathrooms that are clean whether there is a catered event, weekend event, New Year's Eve event, day or night!!! That says a lot about the pride of the restaurant. KUDOS TO THE ULTIMATE JERK CENTRE. Looking forward to New Year's Eve night!!
The jerk chicken here tends
The jerk chicken here tends to be overcooked and very dry, and the jerk sauce is over salted. I've tried it several times and each time it's the same result. This place is nice for having a drink and listening to good music, and they throw an amazing New Year's Eve party every year, however the jerk chicken is better at Scotchies.
